Instead I ordered a sample of a few of the brands I was interested in such as bambo, and tried them out on my 2 year old. 2 nappies in a sample gives a good trial and I ordered the two sizes in bambo that over lap his weight range to get a good feel for how the brand fits overall.
For purely aesthetic, these were my pick. I love the simple design and they fit and absorbed well. Also had the softer feel of the three brands I trialled. To be honest I ended up asking my son which of the three he wanted to wear again as my chosen method as you can't really go wrong here. These nappies feel really soft, fit my baby nicely (he is at the bottom end of the size range) and didn’t leak. Like many Eco nappies they are a bit expensive to be using full time. Still to test overnight.
