ECOMAX grew from founder Nori Smith’s discovery of long-lasting coconut-fibre scrubbers in Sri Lanka. The brand considers the full product life cycle and works with local makers using renewable plant fibres, reclaimed or plantation timbers and simple wire construction where required.

We choose ECOMAX because the range replaces many short-lived plastic brushes and synthetic scourers with practical tools made for specific jobs. Different fibres, shapes and levels of firmness help customers select a brush for dishes, bottles, produce, surfaces or personal care.

Materials and disposal options vary across the range. Remove wire or other non-compostable components where instructed, allow brushes to dry between uses and follow the care guidance on the individual product page.
