Supporting reforestation and ecosystem-restoration partners through Ecologi.
Our impact
Small actions. Recorded transparently.
Every contribution matters, but trust matters too. That is why the climate action funded by Hello Charlie through Ecologi is connected to a public record that families can view for themselves.
Climate contributions should be visible, traceable and explained without exaggeration.
Live totals are supplied through Ecologi’s public Reporting API.

What the numbers mean
Different actions are reported separately.
Trees, avoided emissions, carbon removals and habitat restoration are not interchangeable. Keeping them separate makes the impact easier to understand and avoids overstating what a contribution represents.
Trees funded
Tree funding supports reforestation and ecological regeneration. We do not count these trees as carbon offsets or convert them into a claimed amount of avoided emissions.
CO₂e avoided
Carbon-avoidance projects prevent additional greenhouse-gas emissions, such as by reducing methane or replacing fossil-fuel energy. Ecologi records this impact in tonnes of carbon-dioxide equivalent.
Our contribution, not the whole solution
Funding climate action is one part of our wider approach. It does not replace the ongoing work of reducing waste, choosing products carefully and improving our own operations.
Where the funding goes
Climate and nature projects recorded through Ecologi.
Our public Ecologi profile shows the projects connected with our contributions. These have included reforestation, methane reduction, peatland protection and renewable-energy projects.
Responsible reforestation
Tree funding supports Ecologi’s reforestation partners in restoring degraded land, supporting ecosystems and working with local communities.
View our profilePreventing future emissions
Our profile records support for projects such as landfill-methane reduction, peatland conservation and renewable electricity generation.

Ecologi publishes information about its projects, carbon standards, retirement certificates, partner evidence and public impact reporting.
How Ecologi evidences impactHow the data is supported
A public record, not just a claim on our website.
The totals displayed above are requested from Ecologi’s public, read-only Reporting API. Customers can also visit our Ecologi profile to see project activity and milestone records outside the Hello Charlie website.
- Impact totals are retrieved from Ecologi, not manually increased on this page.
- Ecologi’s Reporting API is public and read-only; no customer data or account password is used.
- Pending contributions, when reported by the API, are identified separately from confirmed totals.
- Project evidence and methodology remain available through Ecologi’s own platform.
Clarity over green claims
Impact is not a shortcut to sustainability.
Supporting climate projects does not make every product, delivery or business activity impact-free. We see it as additional action alongside the work of reducing avoidable impacts within our own choices and operations.
What we are—and are not—saying
We fund trees and carbon-avoidance projects through Ecologi and report the recorded totals separately. We do not treat tree planting as a direct carbon offset, and this page is not a claim that Hello Charlie or every purchase is carbon neutral.
It is a transparent record of one part of the action we fund.
Beyond the numbers
Our wider responsibility starts with everyday decisions.
Climate funding is meaningful, but our impact is also shaped by what we stock, what we say no to, how clearly we share information and how we support families to make practical changes.
Thoughtful product selection
We consider ingredients, materials, transparency, usefulness and packaging rather than relying only on front-of-pack claims.
How we choose productsPractical information
Our guides and Cheat Sheets help families compare products and understand trade-offs without fear-based language or pressure to be perfect.

We also support families and community organisations through selected giving, partnerships and product donations.
