Muumi nappies are manufactured in Finland, by a family owned company who have been making nappies for over 35 years. Muumi eco nappies have a much lower eco footprint than standard disposables, guaranteed by the Nordic Swan Eco Label. Unlike many other eco labels, the Nordic Swan Eco Label is concerned with the nappy’s impact over its entire life cycle, not just the disposal. There are many factors that affect the environmental impact of a product. Currently, there isn’t a fully biodegradable disposable nappy available on the market. As a consumer trying to reduce your eco-footprint, it is important to look at the entire lifecycle of the product, rather than a single factor.

We love the Muumi nappy range - this is our third bulk buy of them (second thru Hello Charlie - first time we had to order elsewhere, only because they weren’t in stock at HC) - fit is perfect, materials so gentle and great absorbency, better than all the different ones we trialled thru HC (samples highly recommended). We have access to a huge compost system and have been composting them, but are still waiting for true breakdown. That said, on eco credentials and product quality alone, they are well worth it. We buy 6+ weeks at a time and love the Finnish iconic character design (so much more aesthetically pleasing than Disney characters).
Best nappies on the market
I have tried so many brands and hands down these are he best quality. Made in a european country is reassuring to me & I love the video on their website explaining about how they manage to make the nappies with clean energy

These are terrific nappies. We have used these for a long time, recently had to try a different brand but so happy to come back to these! Nice high back, any mess is well contained, they don't fall off like the other brand I tried.
