Wool is a miracle fibre that has unique thermoregulating abilities, keeping wearers warm in winter and cool in summer. Comparing wool to non wool sleeping bags using the TOG (Thermal Overall Grade) value may not be accurate. But for comparison, Merineo's pink blossom, baby blue, and soft grey fabrics have a TOG value of 0.4. Wool is also naturally fire resistant and safer than cotton and synthetics, hence the Merineo toddler sleeping bags have the lowest fire rating based on a laboratory test.

The toddler sleeping bag comes with armhole press studs, ensuring a snug and secure fit while your toddler sleeps. And as your child grows and begins to roll, you can open the press studs, allowing increased mobility while maintaining the sleeping bag's comfort.

    Bought this Merineo toddler sleeping bag in the 6 month to 24 month size when our daughter was 5 months old in anticipation of our daughter turning 6 months. She has been wearing sleep sacks since she was a couple of weeks old with no problems. However, the neck on this one is tight on a below-average weight 5 month old, it's a similar size to her sleeping bags from 0-3 months old. It is tight to put on and she understandably gets upset. This shouldn't be sold as a 6-24 month size, it's nowhere close to appropriately fitting and in my opinion would be unsafe to try and put on any child in the 6-24 month age range it is being sold for. Under Austrlaian Consumer Law this is classified as a Major Problem because is both unsafe and very different from the description. The tag says it is 6-24 months but the size is the same as other 0-3 months bags. Reached out to Hello Charlie about this to try and understand if there is something we were doing wrong with it but after 8 days we've had no response which is very disappointing. Even more disappointing is that Hello Charlie's returns system is only offering a gift card for a product that is not fit for the purpose for which it is advertised. This is a breach of Australian Consumer Law which dictates it must be refunded in the same form as the original payment or replaced with the same type of product. I'm proceeding to a chargeback request with our credit card provider since a gift card is not an appropriate resolution under Australian law and Hello Charlie is non-responsive. I don't recommend these sleeping bags and I very strongly recommend against buying from Hello Charlie - a company that won't respond to issues isn't one I want to deal with ever again.
