Hess Spielzeug have created another lovely wooden rattle for baby, this one in the shape of an eight. There's knobbly bits, parts to twist, and a bell, all made from sustainable European beechwood and water based paints. 

This wood rattle has long wooden beads on an elastic cord, with a little bell attached. The rattle can be safely twisted, turned, shaken, rattled and chewed. It makes a great baby teething toy to bite down on and ease sore gums, too. The materials are all saliva resistant, the bell is nickel free, and everything like strings, glue and elastics are also safe and non toxic for baby.
