Biotuff Compostable Bin Liners are made from plant based thermoplastic corn starch resin so they’re biodegradable and compostable. These compostable bags are perfect for sorting your rubbish out at home and lining a small bin. They’re eco friendly and are a great alternative to plastic waste bags.

The biodegradable bags are strong and leak proof, plus they're puncture, tear and heat resistant. They’re breathable so they’re great for controlling odour and dissolving moisture. The bags will decompose in 90 days in home composting facilities or up to 6 months in landfills.

Biodegradable and certified compostable to Australian and European standards AS4736, ISO16929, ISO14855, Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI).

Biotuff General Use Bin Liners Medium 20L - 25 bags

Very pleasing. However the bags are a little thin (not really pineapple-skin proof!) and smaller than expected, and I will check with the caretaker as to whether they are causing problems with leakage during transportation from small to large bins. I need rather a lot of them as we eat a lot of fruit and vegetables so I am wondering if I will be able to keep up with the cost. Overall I am grateful for the efforts being made to reduce landfill and just hope that these bags stand the test of long term scrutiny as to their biodegradable qualities.
